Cindy Lynn Goldsmith

January 21, 1963 - July 24, 2003

Cindy Lynn Goldsmith: Cindy passed away Thursday morning at her home in Washington at the age of 40 years, 6 months and 3 days. Cindy's memory is honored by her husband, John and two daughters, Amanda and Jessica Goldsmith, at home in Washington; a sister & brother-in-law, Penny & Mike Rawls and a brother and sister-in-law, Ron & Connie Johnson , all of Kimberling City, MO; and a grandmother, Lottie Longcor of Beacon, IA. She is survived by three step-brothers: Monte (Karen) Johnson of Oskaloosa, Steve (Michele) Johnson and Bruce Johnson of Beacon; and two step-sisters, Michele Johnson of Des Moines and Shelly Eskew of Phoenix, AZ and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cynthia Lynn Goldsmith, daughter of Fred Gray and Frances Jean Longcor was born January 21, 1963 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was raised in Beacon and attended the Oskaloosa Schools. On July 25, 1981 she married John Henry Goldsmith at Lake Keomah; they lived in What Cheer, IA until 1986 when the moved to Beacon. In 1994, John was transferred to Washington, IA. Cindy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington; she enjoyed her family and took much pride in raising her two daughters. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father, Delbert Duane Johnson and her grandfather, Frank Longcor. PDF Printable Version
