Elizabeth and Zoe Empie

Elizabeth Amerillis Marie Empie and Susan Zoe Grace “Zoe” Empie were born into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. The girls were very much wanted and loved by their dad and mom, Jeremy and Katie Empie. While their dad and mom are heartbroken with their loss, they find comfort in knowing that Elizabeth and Zoe never knew the pain or heartache of this world and that all they ever knew was the perfect love of their parents and Savior, Jesus. Jeremy and Katie believe that one day, they will be reunited with their precious daughters in heaven, where they will never have to be separated. Elizabeth’s and Zoe’s memory will live on by those who loved them and are left here on earth to tell their story. They are survived, loved, and carried in the hearts of their paternal grandparents, Leland and Kim Empie, and their paternal uncle, Jesse Empie. They are also carried in the hearts of and loved by their maternal grandpa, John Callow, and their maternal uncles, Michael (Mary) Callow and Benjamin (Heather) Callow. They are also loved dearly by their cousins, Katie and Brianna Blake, Madison, Krystal and Annebelle Callow, and Nathan Daughenbaugh. They are also carried in the hearts of many other loved ones. Elizabeth and Zoe join their family, which has passed on before them: their maternal grandma, Susan Callow; cousin, Ryleigh Callow; great-grandparents, Melvin and Jeanne Johnson; and Frank Goodman. Jeremy and Katie will never truly understand why Elizabeth and Zoe did not get to join them here on earth. However, they believe God has a plan for Elizabeth and Zoe and their story. Jeremy and Katie desire to raise their children, including Elizabeth and Zoe, in the fear and admonition of the Lord Jesus. They believe that if Elizabeth and Zoe had lived here on earth, they would have accepted Jesus into their hearts one day. They want to use Elizabeth’s and Zoe’s short life here to let everyone know that God has a plan for your life and everyone’s life, no matter how short it is, and that they desire that God would use Elizabeth’s and Zoe’s story to draw you to Him. If you do not know Jesus as your Savior, they want to encourage you to say a salvation prayer to accept Jesus as your Savior. If you do not know what to pray, you can pray this prayer. Jesus- I thank you for the opportunity for salvation. I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I ask that you come into my heart and change my life. I submit my life and will to you. I know that by accepting you as my Lord and Savior, I will join you in heaven at the end of my life. In your name, I pray, Amen. If you said this prayer, please let Jeremy or Katie know so they can rejoice with you. A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at Langkamp Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held privately in Bluff Creek Cemetery.
